Professional Counsellor (Heilpraktikerin für Psychotherapie)
I was born and grew up in Kenya before moving to Germany more than 25 years ago for studies. I have also lived in the UK and Australia.
In my work I draw from multiple psychotherapy models including cognitive-behavioural, solution-focused and values-based approaches. I view therapy as a process in which the client and the therapist work collaboratively. I am committed to providing a safe space with the potential for change to happen as clients work on the life issues they choose to address. My training in Client-Centred Therapy underpins the respectful, non-judgemental, empathic stance in my interaction with clients.
I offer therapy in English and German. I also speak fluent Swahili.
