What I Help With
For Couples: You’re both successful, but your relationship is suffering. One of you sacrificed a career for the move. The other feels guilty but resentful. You’re exhausted, disconnected, and wondering if this is fixable. International couples face unique structural pressures—I specialize in helping you navigate them before the damage becomes permanent.
For High-Achievers Facing Burnout: You’ve always been able to push through, but this time it’s different. You’re exhausted in a way that rest doesn’t fix. Your performance is slipping. You’re irritable, disconnected, and starting to wonder if something is fundamentally wrong. Burnout isn’t a motivation problem—it’s a nervous system problem. And it requires real intervention, not just more discipline.
For Professionals Who’ve Lost Themselves: You’ve built an impressive career, but somewhere along the way you stopped recognizing yourself. You’re successful on paper but feel empty. Your relationships feel transactional. You’ve optimized everything except your actual life. This isn’t about achieving more—it’s about reconnecting with who you are beneath the accomplishments.
Why Clients Choose to Work With Me
I specialize exclusively in international life because I live it. I’ve spent 25 years working with expats, global professionals, and cross-cultural couples. I understand the identity shifts, the isolation, the pressure of building a life far from home—not theoretically, but from lived experience.
I use evidence-based methods that create measurable change. My approach combines Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman-informed techniques, and cognitive-behavioral strategies. This isn’t vague talk therapy—it’s structured, practical work designed to break destructive patterns and build new ones that last.
I work with clients who are serious about change. My clients are high-functioning professionals who don’t need hand-holding—they need expertise, clarity, and real solutions. If you’re ready to do the work, I’m ready to guide you through it.
It is deep, transformative work designed to create real and lasting change.
My Approach
Therapy with me is direct, practical, and deeply personalized. We’ll identify the patterns keeping you stuck, develop concrete skills to change them, and create a clear path forward.
This isn’t about endless processing. It’s about understanding what’s happening, why it’s happening, and what to do about it—then actually doing it.
I don’t do surface-level support. I do transformative work for people ready to invest in real, lasting change.

About Me
I’ve lived as an expat for over 25 years across multiple countries. Originally from the USA, I spent years in Sydney, Australia, where I studied at UNSW and ran my own private practice before moving to Germany. I have a Masters in Humanistic & Existential Psychology and am licensed as a Psychotherapist in Germany (HeilprG).
I’m a mother of three, owner of two dogs, servant to two cats, and a passionate advocate for education reform through Loxabe EB-Schools.
I don’t just understand international life professionally—I live it daily.

Cancellation & Attendance Policy
Effective for all online and in-person sessions
Your session time is reserved exclusively for you. Out of respect for your time and mine, the following policy applies to all clients and their guardians.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours before your scheduled session. You can reach me by message through the booking platform or by email.
Late cancellations (under 24 hours notice) and no-shows are charged the full session fee of €200. This applies regardless of the reason.
Late Arrivals for Online Sessions
For online appointments, I will wait up to 15 minutes after the scheduled start time. At the 10-minute mark, I will send a message to check in.
If I have not heard from you and you have not connected by the 15-minute mark, I will close the session. The appointment will be treated as a no-show and the full fee applies.
If you do connect after I have closed the session, we will not have sufficient time for a full appointment. The session cannot be continued or resumed at that point.
